Trout Fishing Guide
There is an old fishing saying that every time you go fishing the conditions will be different. Things are very different if the weather is cold. On the one hand you the fisherman will be working under different conditions but at the same time the trout will react differently. From the fisherman's point of view the less distractions you have the better. If you are freezing or as happens quite often, the longer you are out the more you feel numb, then it is difficult to cast, to keep your momentum and your mind will certainly turn to your physical sensations. ...

Beginner Bass Fishing – Tips, Techniques and Tools to Land Fish
Bass fishing is a great sport that anyone can learn how to do. Although it takes some technique and skill, the biggest trait to have when fishing is patience. The right tools also help, but being able to cast, reel and hook a fish is more important. The best part about bass fishing is that it can be raining, or a perfect clear day. The weather shouldn't rain on your bass fishing parade, but it will affect your fish catching success. The warmer the weather, the bass are likely to go to the bottom and shadier areas. If it's cooler out, ...
Fantastic Info on Trout Fishing
One of America's favorite past times is fishing. And one of the best types of fish to target and catch is trout. Trout fish can generally be found in cool, clear streams and lakes all through North America. They can be found naturally in northern Asia and Europe. The majority of trout can be solely found in freshwater, but many, such as the steel-head spend their adult life in the ocean after which they return to the streams where they were hatched to spawn. This is known as anadromous reproduction and is also seen in salmon. Brook trout, brown trout, ...

5 Fishing Tips to Help You Land More FishFishing tips are abundant. Not only can you find lots of them on the internet; you can also simply ask any fishermen you see when fishing. If they have some tips to pass along, they are usually more than willing to do so.
However, there is one fishing tip I would like to pass along. While it never hurts to try out some of the information you come across, never let this stop you from trying some things you think might work or wonder if they will work.
I was talking to a fisherman and he saw me reel in my bait. I had a worm on the hook and had the bobber very close to the bait. He told me that was not the right way to do things and said to allow the worm to dangle at least a couple feet below the bobber.
I generally do for surface feeding, and even more for fishing the bottom, but I was watching some of the fish jumping and decided to keep my worm up near the top and reel it back in in short spurts. I thanked him but told him I was running a test.
About six or seven casts later, I hooked a nice 2 pound bass. Before I was done, I had five keepers and a number of throw backs. The moral is if you want to try something new, just do it. Do not let anyone embarrass you into giving up.
With that being said, here are 5 fishing tips that may help you haul in more fish your next time out.
1. Leave some of your hook showing when baiting. I like to make sure there is at least some of the pointed area showing as it gives you a better chance at setting the hook.
2. Just because you are fishing from shore, it doesn’t mean you need to see how far out you can cast. Many times the fish will be in closer to shore. I can’t tell you the number of times I was flinging my bobber out deep and feeling pretty good about it, only to watch my grandson fishing closer to shore and catching the fish. He does let me hear it too.:-)
3. You will do better in a lake or pond on the windward side. The wind will cause floating insects to collect at the end, and the action from the waves will churn up food from the bottom.
4. Fishing in clear water requires a different technique than fishing in murky waters. Cut down the size of the worm, line, and sinker so that bass will have a harder time seeing the lure.
5. Do not overload your line with sinkers. Seriously. I know many fishermen who love to add a lot of sinkers as they are then able to throw their line out a tremendous distance. The problem is when the fish tests the bait, they get heavy resistance and leave it alone.
We fishermen are a funny breed. We fish from a boat and try to fish close to shore. We fish from shore and try to see how far out in the water we can cast. The bottom line is we enjoy fishing and that’s a good thing.
